And why, exactly, would that not work? My Kel-Tec SU-16CA wears a looped paracord for a sling. Not ideal, but actually more functional in some ways than a standard sling.
They each connect completely differently and using one type wouldn’t work very well for the other.
On a side note, paracord makes a poor sling. Thankfully though, you have it on something that doesn’t weigh much. If you attempt to use paracord on a guitar or a rifle that weighs 9+lbs (like a Les Paul or an HK91) for any length of time you will find yourself hating life.
Maybe a “universal” sling is in order 🙂
