Experts Surer Than Ever of Manmade Warming
Climate scientists are surer than ever that human activity is causing global warming, according to leaked drafts of a major UN report, but they are finding it harder than expected to predict the impact in specific regions in coming decades.
The uncertainty is frustrating for government planners: the report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the main guide for states weighing multibillion-dollar shifts to renewable energy from fossil fuels, for coastal regions considering extra sea defenses or crop breeders developing heat-resistant strains.
Drafts seen by Reuters of the study by the UN panel of experts, due to be published next month, say it is at least 95 percent likely that human activities – chiefly the burning of fossil fuels – are the main cause of warming since the 1950s.
When all you “evidence” looks flawed, and your motives are seen as suspect because of the biases, releasing another report “proving” your hypothesis using the same evidence and the same people and their motives doesn’t mean you get a pass and we’re going to believe you now.
Climate change. What a bunch of hooey. I can just see the dinosaurs talking about how it is getting colder and we need to fart more.
Idiots.
And I’m 95% certain these “scientists” are riding the government-funded science gravy train for all it’s worth, and are just hoping if they shout the big lie loud enough, long enough, people will FINALLY believe them, even if all their “predictions” are wrong, and not warming has happened in a decade and a half.
“Maybe if we up the statistic to 110% of scientists agree global warming exists, the naysayers will believe us then.” – said somewhere in the bowels of an IPCC office or up in an ivory tower.
Of course, now they’re calling it ‘climate change’, and progressives -the ones who want change- want to stop it. Slight irony; the folks who want social change want environmental homeostasis.
And what about evolution, bitches? Are not we humans adaptable? We’ve adapted to almost every climate this planet has to offer, from Artic cold to Death Valley heat, from the wettest tropical rainforest to the driest deserts. And they don’t think we’ll survive hotter temperatures, rising oceans, changing weather patterns if it comes to it? Please!
