Gunnie Problems

When you’re cleaning out the garage and find 1200 rounds of 7.62×51 that you forgot you had and can’t stop laughing as you’re pulling it out of the stash spot in 200 round increments.

My Zombie Apocalypse is going to be better than I had previously thought.

I also found a bunch of 7.62×39 that I knew I had, but couldn’t remember where I’d put it (I had multiple 200 round bandoliers spread out in multiple locations (I found six of the twelve, but I’m still missing two of them)). I may be assessing my need for that caliber since I bought it all when I had five SKS’s and now I only have one. I might be looking for a reasonable exchange of 5.56×45 since I’m acquiring another one of those soon. It’s all 1979 vintage Yugo brass case, if anyone is interested.

As Kim du Toit used to opine, happy dance time. Kind of like finding money in the couch.

Only 1200 rounds? That means you don’t have enough. If you can’t misplace at least ten times that and not miss it, then you need more. I mean, c’mon, only six measly little battle-packs? Now, misplacing the crates with 250 rounds of linked 50 BMG would be more impressive.

Based on current pricing I would say roughly 1.5 rds of 7.62X39 to 1rd of 5.56. Sound reasonable?

That sounds quite fair. Sadly, I have made a local deal already for a small portion. Thank you very kindly. I should have struck that line sooner.

Darn that would have gone nicely with the other 10(?)cases I have of the stuff, heh, heh, heh. So what have you got left? I shoot a lot of FA things so more is always better.
