Wish Him Luck

The first part of this week the missus and I hosted The Man from Mich-I-Gan, Dave the RNS Photographer, here at Firebase Blue.

Aside from his visiting the Seattle/Tacoma are for the first time since the mid-70’s, we also had some excellent eats (C.I. Shenanigans, The Ram & Five Guys), and met up with Scott and his missus.

Oh, and Dave got to chronograph and zero his 6.5×47.

Dave will be the sole RNS member who is able to make it to Boomershoot this year. The rest of us had “employment issues” of one form or another.

While I’m still quite unhappy about my and Scott’s and David’s inability to get our groove on (rifling has grooves, get it), I am doing my best to remember that it’ll mean we’ll be twice as ready for Boomershoot 2014.
