RNS Quote of the Day: 12/12/12

I doubt that this means he’ll actually read the items he votes on in the future

But I am concerned that we are running out of time before this job-killing tax goes into effect. So, for now, the best thing to do to ensure that this important industry continues to create jobs and producing life-saving devices is to delay this unwise tax.

Senator Al Franken (D) MN

He wants the Medical Device Tax portion of Obamacare delayed and/or repealed. He cast one of the deciding votes on the legislation, which he apparently did not read.

Thank you, Minnesota.

Odd, I thought every single Democrat’s signature was necessary to ram that piece of crap up our national collective rectum.

Am I wrong to think that if even one senator had abstained or voted against, it would not be law?

You are correct, Mark. Which is why his opposition is both so sad and so funny.
