Less Iron in My System

I now have eight fewer pieces of metal in my head than I did yesterday.

Let me tell you that taking them out hurt only slightly less than it did putting them in.

And unless I shave my head, I don’t even have a kewl scar to show for it.

  1. I know how that goes. I can at least show off where my knee was stapled. Showing off the hip requires a bit more skin if you get my drift, and well that’s the fun scar!

If you had em removed in a hospital watch out — there’s a nasty hospital flu that strikes with no warning in the form of near-continuous nausea and diarrhea for several hours. Grandma picked it up when she went in for her stroke, and all of the family who visited her are having it literally go thru us now.

On the plus side I think this is the first time I’ve ever posted something while hunched on a toilet.

Thanks for the warning, David. But nope, “Urgent Care” center. Only a $40 copay!

Glad you got your metallic appliques removed successfully. Watch your step, hear?
