Very upbeat article, Mad Rocket, but the rub still remains. CNC has at it’s core, “NC”, numerical control. The instructions for NC must be letter perfect. I see the Gummint sponsoring a virus (yes, they CAN be written for Unix systems) that will find CNC firearms-milling instructions, and either pollute them with garbage or erase them.
Remember StuxNet?
If you want to make that connector for a Garand-based action to give it RnR capabilities, you’re probably better off with a wire-feed welder, a toolbox full of metal files & micrometers, plus a lot of patience. A trained machinist can already do all this stuff to make C3 weapons, which still are still a liability and threat to your freedom if you show them to even one other person.
