He will not need his tyrant’s pen. Just a few meetings with the heads of the regulatory agencies will do. And he will attempt to shield himself behind the bureaucracy.
I predicted this several years ago. The way to defeat it is simply to compare him to the history books, and keep pounding it to the masses: No President since FDR has used back-door legislating to accomplish a political agenda as much as Obama, and chances are, Obama will pass even FDR.
I prefer to generously use the “Chicago Gang” sobriquet when talking of Obama and his agenda, because his behavior models came from the likes of Al Capone and Bugs Moran, not from the Founding Fathers.
Congress still controls the purse strings. If they have the cajones, they could write the funding bills so as to not fund certain things. If they have the cajones. And the brains.
The problem is that Hussein can veto spending bills that contain provisions he doesn’t like. I suspect he’d like to maneuver the Republicans into a “shut down the government” scenario. After all, that worked pretty well for BJ Clinton.
Which is why it behooves the Free Media to make sure everybody understands what he is doing.
