If you’ve got this Sunday morning free, you all are welcome to join my coworkers and I at the Renton Fish & Game Club range. The range opens at 1000 and we’ll be there just before that. $12 at the Clubhouse for non-members.
There’ll be both rifle (out to 200yds) and pistol (up to 50yds) action going on. I’m even toying with the idea of bringing out my .22-250 and the pool cue chalk cubes and letting folks take a whack at some just-under-half-MOA targets. Bring .55gr green & yellow box Remington Core-Lokt ammo as that is what the Riger likes best. I have a box or two that I would be willing to split up between folks at a reasonable price as well.
Scott and I will be the amateur range police, with Rangemaster Glenn, of RifleArt fame, providing the muscle to back up any warning we end up having to give out. I say “warning” because there will only be one given.
If you’re an early bird, we’ll be meeting for for breakfast at the Shari’s by I-405 and the Renton-Maple Valley Highway at 0830 before heading off to worship at the Church of the Holy High Speed Projectile.
I am not sure if I will be able to make it this weekend, Phil. I hope you’re planning to do more in the not-too-distant future.
nice to hear of your visit…church of the holy high speed projectile meets the church of the centerfire…fun will be had by all…g
