Rep. John “What Good Is Reading The Bill” Conyers’ (trophy?) wife was sentenced today after pleading guilty to accepting bribes. Apparently, she didn’t realize that pleading guilty meant that she would be punished. So, now she will to appeal the sentencing, because the judge would not let her withdraw her plea. Good to know that there is at least one decent federal judge left in Detroit.
But, her sentence should have been doubled if not only for the fact that she lost a debate with an 8th grader.
