It’s a start

OK, so the Navies won’t be using them for target practice on sight, but seizing the “motherships” and destroying them sans crew is a start.  Gunners Mates need practice, doncha know.

Unrelated:

A Navy Captain got herself shitcanned.  Seems she forgot that the CO does not touch the crew except to defend him/herself, that the direct discipline of crew is handled best by the senior enlisted (except in cases where Captains Mast is needed), and that crew are not unpaid servants for personal needs.

That drag race bit?  Total non-issue, we used to do crap like that all the time, and no one cares unless things or people get broken.

Heh, the CO who was leaving (got his star) just as I came aboard *bent the frame* of the aircraft carrier on which I was stationed because he took it into a storm with a bit more gusto than sense.

Didn’t slow up his career… neither did his alcohol intake, apparently…

Read about the case; that level of stupid(whacking crew members, actual personal abuse ESPECIALLY in front of others and so forth) has to be cut off. It just cannot be tolerated.
