I don’t know if I’m happy or sad to hear the news

That Representative “Baghdad” Jim McDermott doesn’t read RNS.

If he did read RNS, he’d have read this post on Monday and not flubbed his ballot.

It’s one of the hot issues in the election this season. The latest initiative from Tim Eyman, I-1033, is another tax initiative that would limit state, county and city revenue growth to inflation and population expansion.

The fact that there’s a lot of debate over this is not a surprise. What is a surprise is that many King County voters are having trouble finding it on the mail in ballot itself.

…..

One of the people who’s already mailed in his ballot and missed seeing I-1033 was Seattle Democratic Congressman Jim McDermott.

Of course, if McDermott actually read RNS daily, it would probably cause his head to explode after about a week or so.

I remember him from my term as a WA resident… he wouldn’t make it a day reading RNS.
