Last week I agreed with the inclusion of Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
But this week I’m wondering how the hell Alan Parsons got left out?
Just a mention somewhere would of been nice. A recommend of the I, Robot album wouldn’t have been asking too much.
But nada. There is no mention of him in even just the index.
Disappointment swells.
So for you, the opening instrumental track of the above mentioned 1977 album
I, Robot – Alan Parsons Project
And as a follow up, from the 1984 album, Ammonia Avenue.
Prime Time – Alan Parsons Project
Enjoy!
PS – I’ll be at GBR IV in Reno next Thursday, but that doesn’t mean we’ll be short on music here that day. I’m loading it up this Sunday.
Excellent choice! The MP3 player in my car stereo on randomize played Lucifer on the way to work today. It sounded good 🙂
Anybody else could see what’s wrong, but they walk away. 😉
Days are Numbers (The Traveler) on the 1985 Vulture Culture Album is my favorite song of his, but Turn of a Friendly Card or Edgar Allen Poe would fight it out for favorite album depending upon mood at the time
Wife turned me on to his stuff. The clinic she worked in played his stuff in the waiting room.
