I normally don’t care about the game

But that would have changed if the Seattle Seahawks’ schedule were different this season.

Quarterback Michael Vick has signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, his agent, Joel Segal, confirmed to ESPN.com.

Vick arrived in Philadelphia Tuesday morning and remained there Wednesday evening. The Eagles will hold a news conference on Friday morning to announce his signing. The first year of the deal is for $1.6 million with an option for the second year at $5.2 million, sources told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. Vick can also earn an additional $3 million in incentives over the two years of the contract, sources told ESPN.com’s Len Pasquarelli.

I’d spend big bucks to be able to make barking noises where Vick could hear them for two to three hours straight.

I guess, like all Seahawks fans, I’ll have to hope for a post-season.

What gets the stupidity prize in all these incidents is the blind eye that the NFL turns towards these men being involved in gangster activity.

The chump in New York who got caught when his illegal pistol fell out of his hip-hop saggy pants, Michael Vick who ran a ranch for illegal dog fighting, there have been many others.

All thse men had one thing in common, they used their huge salaries to “play”, and I’m not talking football.

The game that they play has been going on for generations, and it is the black gangster life. There are plenty of white gangs, so how come we don’t see white football players involved in THEM? Plenty of hispanic gangs, too, but I have NEVER heard of a latino pro football player involved with them.

What is the attraction about the gang life for these men?

Why can’t the NFL Player’s Association and the NFL get a handle on that?
