A report released Wednesday by Forbes magazine ranked the U.S. Military Academy as the top college in the country in their America’s Best College review.
“Marked by an intense work ethic and drive to succeed on all fronts, the West Point undergraduate experience also allows graduates to leave without a penny of tuition loans to repay,” Forbes stated in its release.
In the Forbes rating, West Point outpaced other highly-ranked schools such as Princeton (#2), Cal Tech (#3), Harvard (#5) and the U.S. Air Force Academy (#7).
If you want your children to get a real education and not a brainwashing, save your money and don’t bother with the Ivy League schools.
Sure, a skin from Harvard or Princeton looks impressive on the wall. But if you want their decor earn them respect, you know where they need to go.
Having worked with West Pointers, and served under West Pointers, there is definitely something about them that is a little different. The good ones are great, the bad ones are horrible, and there are very few in the middle.
However my BS from Evergreen was good enough to get me through OCS and into the Officer Corps. The GI Bill paid my tuition and my lack of a pedigreed degree hasn’t stopped me from succeeding in my Army career.

There are a few different spellings of “Hooah”, as well as a multitude of explanations of how it came about. My personal favorite (although not necessarily correct) is that “Hooah” started off as H.U.A.W., which stood for “Hurry Up And Wait”.
Which is still significant in the Army today.
