It is why they act the way they do.

I don’t believe a lot of change in this country have come through debating and being happy and talking to people.

Linda Gomaa – Protester of Tom Tancredo’s speech at UNC speaking to the AP

“So do what I say or my friends and I will stop you from expressing your opinion.” could have been her follow-up line.

Lovely lady, I’m sure. She lets the AP know that she is the daughter of legal immigrants who cannot understand the difference between them and someone who comes here illegally. I hope mom and dad are happy spending all that money on such a fine education.

  1. Jim Gwyn says:

The thing that these young entities don’t grasp is that when they break down the walls of civil discourse, they let in the thugs as well. In every revolution, the ideologues are quickly ousted by those to whom violence is meat and drink. Look at the original reds in Russia when Lenin, Stalin, et al. took control. The theorists and revolutionaries were the first to the wall.

Besides, if violence is no longer off limits, the opposition just might start playing too.
