On the road again (almost): Update: Now yes.

We’re just about done getting the RNS California Shuttle loaded and fitted for its last leg of the journey to Boomershoot. Just a few last minute weatherizing touches (it is currently raining here at Firebase Blue) and some breakfast and they’ll be off.

Pics in a bit.

While you’re waiting, here are three good bits from around the sphere yesterday:

Uncle Ted on firearms: More Guns, Less Violent Crime as the Bad Guys Run or Die

Sophia A. Nelson, President and CEO of iask, Inc (an organization dedicated to the advancement of service-self-success of professional black women), writes at The Huffington Post that Janeane Garafolo was an idiot to say what she did about the T.E.A Partys and is roundly abused by the HuffPo commentariat. It is sad to see someone who actually knows what she is talking about beaten up by folks who haven’t the slightest clue.

And lastly, here is a list of myths surrounding “Green Jobs”. Set it to memory, as this topic is going to get ugly this summer.

Back in a few.

UPDATE: And off they go, with supplies in tow.

David and I arrived at Tribb’s at approximately 7:00 PM. Right now, David and David are in the living room while I’m being a geek photo stitching some photos.

Thanks again for your hospitality! We’ll be seeing you in a few days.

If I do end up photo streaming, it will be through a yahoo screen name @ thepackingrat.
