Those numbers represent the percentage of increase in concealed pistol licenses from January through March of 2008 and January through March 2009 in the state of Washington, and the percentage of handguns sold January though March of 2009 as compared to the entire number of firearms sold throughout 2007. Here in SC, the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) just published that CWP applications were up a full 100% from a year ago. I know most places that teach the classes are booked up until at least July.
