Washington State is looking at a deficit in the billions of dollars that is right up there with California when compared per capita.

Novelty lighters bill passes out of committee
Two bills that would make the sale or distribution of novelty lighters illegal have both passed out of committee.
Novelty lighters are those that have flashing lights, musical sounds, and toy-like designs. The concern is that the lighters appeal to children, who might accidentally start a fire with them.
This is considered a bi-partisan bill because out of the 15 sponsors in the House, one of them has an (R) after his name. No Senate R’s bothered with this.
If you’re a Washington citizen, ask your friends and co-workers what the most pressing issue is in their lives. When they don’t answer “Musical Lighters”, take a moment and let them know just how well the Democrat super-majorities in the State House and Senate are working out for them.
Especially if you work for one of the companies on page#4 of this pdf document. Take a good read of this list as these are the companies that the state is willing to admit will most likely lose jobs if the Democrat’s Cap & Trade eco-madness bill passes.
