Synopsis: Lying to people in order to scare them has a tendency to make them believe less of what you say.
Experts at Britain’s top climate research centre have launched a blistering attack on scientific colleagues and journalists who exaggerate the effects of global warming.
The Met Office Hadley Centre, one of the most prestigious research facilities in the world, says recent “apocalyptic predictions” about Arctic ice melt and soaring temperatures are as bad as claims that global warming does not exist. Such statements, however well-intentioned, distort the science and could undermine efforts to tackle carbon emissions, it says.
Their “science” is already distorted enough as it is. Screaming “We’re all gonna die!!!1!one1!” over and over at the top of their lungs just makes people ignore them.
So I hope they keep it up.
I’ve already heard that the fires in Australia are because of global warming, when in fact they were arson fueled by the Green’s insistence that not one single dead tree or blade of grass should be cut down.
I’ve also read on the leftosphere that those deadly tornados earlier this week were because of Global Warming.
Gotta love the alarmists just a little bit for that.

Kids are being taught in grade-school science now that ANYTIME the weather turns unusual, it’s because of Global Warming, and it’s our fault, so we must fix it.

This concept came about because too many people were digesting the science telling us that warming stopped about 1999, and has since been replaced with cooling. The Socialists, not wanting to lose their favorite forcing tool for conversion of all the world’s private capital to THEIR control, struck back, dumbing down even the bozo, bs concepts of Anthropogenic Global Warming to where it is now not necessary to explain ANYTHING according to scientific principles.
In other words, we’ve all been demoted back nearer the womb, and our “parents” tell us, when we ask “why”, that “it’s just because” and that “daddy knows best”.
