The Soundboard: Inauguration Edition

Seeing as how it’ll be All Obama, All The Time today, I’ll hand out a little music to tide you through the day.

I can’t quite figure out why today is being called “historic”. I’m told that he is to be our first black President or some such, but I was brought up not to notice those kinds of things. I was told it was rude.

Nonetheless, I know I’ll need some tunage to get through it, and I figure you will as well.

So here we go.

A pair of tunes fitting the new administration

Here Come the Bastards – Primus

Los Bastardos – Primus

Because they’ll want not just your body, but also your mind

Assimilate – Skinny Puppy

This was part of my tunage from the day Heller was decided. For the same reasons and with the same sentiment, I post it today.

Dictatosaurus – Probot

And lastly, because they probably won’t get the gist of that last track, when they come for your civil rights tools, tell them to take a long one of these off a short pier

Walk – Pantera

Enjoy!

I caught a patch of ice last night and slipped off the porch last night, catching the top stair in the small of my back (I betcha that’ll be a purty bruise), so right now sitting is the last thing I feel like doing. And since I can’t type standing up, I’m out for the day.

As I mentioned over at “home”, Mrs. Drang asked me via IM if I was watching The Ascension, and I told her no. I am listening to 40’s on 4 XM Satellite. Much more palatable, even the news they read from 1943…

PROBOT!? Very unfree market music. Those jokers worship at the alter of moonbattery.

Whoops wrong band, I was thinking of the Flobots. My bad, yo.
