Yesterday the SCOTUS dropped their 5-4 decision in the Herring v. US case, essentially making “mistaken” searches admissible in court.
If some dyslexic SWAT team member mistakenly reads your house number on 5313 Woodland Ave N for the 5331 Woodland Ave N that is on the warrant and points the team to put the boot to your door, even though the warrant isn’t for your home, they can subsequently find your whiskey still that is “too large for personal use” and they can arrest you and toss you in the clink good as gold.
So remember The Golden Rule: No Means No
No Knock Means No Mercy.
If something invades your home, ignore what it is yelling and shoot it until it stops moving. Repeat as necessary for multiple home invaders.
