   I sincerely hope that was either not a live round (i.e. it was a blank) or this was not a prank… Shooting a live .50 round down an M2 with its barrel improperly secured can easily result in the destruction of the barrel, the receiver, the operator, or a combination of all three, and is not the kind of prank one should pull on anyone except your enemies.

   If that had happened to me…. well…..

   If it was my fault, i.e. I didn’t do proper PMCS on the weapon or somehow screwed the pooch, my Platoon Sergeant would walk over, pick up the barrel, and then shove it so far up my ass it would come out the top of my head.

   If it was a prank pulled on me, I would dismount the vehicle, pick up the barrel, and then shove it so far up someone’s ass that it would come out the top of their head.

   You do NOT fuck with Ma Deuce. Especially MY Ma Deuce.
