RNS Quote of the Day: 10/28/08

It’s all just a little bit of history repeating.

The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.

Marcus Tullius Cicero

We can hope that some of these thing may happen during a McCain administration.

Because we know that none of them will happen during an Obama administration.

  1. Tony says:

What ever did happen to Rome anyway?

    Oh wait, never mind.

    Most Depressing QOTD. Ever.
