I wonder exactly what kind of math Barack Obama was taught in the foreign schools he attended as a child

Tonight, Senator Obama said $18 billion in earmarks between 535 Congressional ne’er-do-wells isn’t that big a deal, but if we can only keep 500 CEOs from getting $350 million in tax breaks, well, that’s how we fix problems!

Charles Austin – Instapundit reader

In the math of my world, $18,000,000,000 dollars is mathematically 51 times larger $350,000,000.

And it shows exactly what kind of moral character Obama has that he sees spending that large an amount of taxpayer dollars as not a big deal, but that cutting someone a break on their taxes because they can be classified as “The Rich” is an atrocity.

If he had a functioning brain that could think analytically instead of a dogma that demands class warfare, he would see that not spending the money in the first place would be the better solution.

And if we had a media that was similarly equipped with such minds, they might be calling bullshit on the guy.

  1. Drej says:

    quoting Obama:

Earmarks account for $18 billion in last year’s budget. Senator McCain is proposing — and this is a fundamental difference between us — $300 billion in tax cuts to some of the wealthiest corporations and individuals in the country, $300 billion.

This paints quite a different picture than what you posted.
