Stupidity in Motion

Obama can’t lose this election to John McCain. McCain has turned himself into a punch line. But a lot of the house members whose arms Obama is twisting are likely to pay the price for him. Likewise in 2010 Obama is setting himself up for huge reverses in Congress, then in 2012 he will become a one term president. The smart move at this point would be to put up a good bill that helps Main Street, let the Republicans defeat it if they chose and then fight the election on it. Why not? If Obama can twist arms for the Paulson bill, why not for a good bill?

Interesting question, isn’t it?

More proof that they really see Obama as some sort of Messiah, instead of what he truly is: A Politician.

And I can only hope that if he does get enough dead and or make believe people to vote for him that he will only be a one term executive.

I disagree. This is the first rat-a-tat liberal evidence I’ve seen that some on the Left think he will be a flash in the pan. Come to think of it, NO ONE has talked “dynasty” with the ObamaMessiah.

Actually, this pundit may be closer to the truth than we want to think, because the un-mentionable isn’t mentioned, I’ll mention it. I think the next Congress will be paralyzed from the day it opens, because the (D) party lacks the discipline to think out an agenda that will pass and get it through. Everyone will have their own agendas, the result being that nothing will get passed. Where I think Obama will be dangerous is with Executive Orders. I think he will go bananas with them, perhaps to the point that the Supreme Court might have to get involved right off the bat.

I look for him to have a slew of executive orders, including some kind of AWB-gun show thing, out within a week of his inauguration.

If he wins, that’s exactly the way I’m calling it. Think ’92-’94.
Assuming the GOP can keep 44-odd seats and some modicum of party discipline, the part about nothing getting done holds, which is good. Executive orders will be all he’s got left.
2010: GOP house and Senate. If the GOP can avoid acting like Dems for 2 years, admittedly a long shot, it’s president Palin or Jindal in 2012.

Somebody please look up the methodology for getting a constitutional amendment on the ballot without congressional involvement, and get us congressional term limits.
