Cars in Montana: Part 1

Folks in The Wife’s family could be what you call “Car Guys”.

These are some of their cars. More pics will follow throughout the week.

This is the sister-in-law’s 1965 Mustang. 289 w/a 4 Speed and flawless inside and out.

Her husband bought it for her while she was serving in Iraq. She had no idea about it until she arrived at home.

Now that is a coming home present!

One of the uncompleted projects they have going on is this 1960 Buick Electra.

As you can see, they’ve done a little customizing. If you click to enlarge that crappy, glare-filled photo, you’ll also see that the doors are hinged in the rear and open 90 degrees.

The two bench seats have been removed and replaced with buckets and a custom, front-to-back waterfall console.

They have another nearly completed Buick project that you’ll see tomorrow.

Like me, there are many projects at once. This is their 1959 Hillman wagon.

I’m told that in the future it’ll be tubbed and have a blown 350 between the front wheels.

And because of the Electra and the Hillman, some projects have to go.

These are three 1936 Chevys.

There are 2-two door sedans, a four door sedan, and a rolling factory frame. There are enough parts here to make most of two cars or one car with extra parts. For Sale. It all has got to go. Only $3800.

Anyone up for a project, or know of someone looking. Send them to my email addy. I’ve got more pics where that one came from.

More tomorrow.
