And I’m off

I couldn’t find anything to actually write about during the overnight that didn’t seem trivial.

I did have a rambling post about Georgia and the Ukraine with a number of funny anecdotes included, but I started reading the idiocy of the leftosphere’s self-appointed experts on the situation and got so pissed off that I decided I would rather write about them.

But that post would burn the kewlness of my last morning before my last night at work before I go on vacation for fourteen days, and I don’t want to burn my good attitude up on them. So I’m going to take my good attitude and the links I’ve gathered and see if oodles of free time helps me write coherently.

I would like to thank the Tolkien readers who stopped by yesterday. I should have probably let you know that I was in the midst of the riddle game by that point, but no worries. I’ll slog through this and hopefully be well along in the second book of the trilogy by the time I get back online.

I did make sure to stop by 99 Bottles and pick up some premium brews for the trip (five six-packs, to be exact) after posting yesterday. Mostly gifts for friends and family, but a very well chosen mixed sixer for myself as well.

And, well, that is about it for now folks. I’m gonna get some rack time, get up and go to work, and them come home and relax before heading out on Sunday. The Wife and I will be spending the night at Trib’s Place, the excellent Boomershoot hacienda in Orofino, ID, along the way to Montana. Hopefully catching some decent pics of Lolo Pass on Hwy 12 on Monday during the second leg of the trip to Helena.

Pics and video and stuff upon my return.

Now, give David a big round of applause. He’s been busting his hump getting stuff set up to fill the void during my absence.

Until we meet again, take care of yourselves, everyone.
