China clearly overtakes US as leading emitter of climate warming gases
China has now clearly overtaken the United States as the world’s leading emitter of climate-warming gases, a new study has found. The increasing emissions from China – up 8 percent in the past year – accounted for two-thirds of the growth in global greenhouse gas emissions in 2007, the study found.
The report, released Friday by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, is an annual study. Last year, for the first time, the researchers found that China had edged ahead of the United States as the world’s leading emitter.

This does mean that the eco-socialists will be heading off to China straight away, right? In previous discussion with them the Gaiahadists say that they’re trying to change American policy because we pollute the most, so they’llbe moving on now, right?
No? But, why?

If I wasn’t so busy making last minute preparation for an Obama Presidency (precious metals, canned foods, ammo, etc) I would seriously consider that as an option.
Because saving the world is inconsequential when one is contemplating life in a Chinese prison or labor camp.
