And taketh him away.
Take Care.
Maybe if someone had thought to take a picture of Heston walking with the recently honored MLK, Jr., the left wouldn’t believe this was Cheston’s only stance on civil rights.
Because unlike the Democrat’s current crop of leaders, who either opposed King or lie about their support or him, Heston knew that a man deserved to be treated like a man and not a child or a an animal.
So long, Chuck.
A man in every sense of the word; a really good man gone, The NRA missed him more than they know after he left. I only met him a couple of times for a few minutes but he was the definition of charisma.
I’ve lost my other ‘Great President’ now.
First REAGAN, now HESTON.
Statesman,
Gentleman,
American.
Miss him so.

Yep, we needed that photo of “Uncle Chuck” with MLK. He did some heavy lifting for the First Amendment and then went on to the Second Amendment. Had he lived a bit longer we might have been privileged to see the good work he could do for the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, but alas, he was a mere mortal.
Steve Ronin is right on the money about him.
