Does this mean

That they’ll be calling themselves “Winter Immigrants”?Just asking is all.

Pandering to aliens won’t work for us

Advocates of amnesty for illegal immigrants, like Sen. John Kerry and Lt. Gov. Tim Murray, gathered on Beacon Hill yesterday to complain about the one kind of immigration enforcement they most oppose:

The kind that works.

They were part of a pro-illegals road show put together by the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union, whose slogan appears to be “Higher Wages Through Vast Increases in the Supply of Illegal, Unskilled Labor!”

Or “I Should Have Paid More Attention in Econ Class.”

Anyway, the UFCW has created a kangaroo court it calls “The National Commission on ICE Misconduct and Violations of the 4th Amendment.” It takes “testimony” from pro-immigration partisans of alleged bad behavior by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

If this sounds eerily similar to the “Winter Soldiers” hearings by anti-war activists of the 1970s – where any number of fake “veterans” made false accusations against U.S. troops in Vietnam – it should. Neither group has any official standing, followed due process or offered evidence acceptable in any U.S. court.

Oh, and John Kerry showed up for both.

Personally, I think the name would work, but I’m just askin’ here.
