Had some running around to do yesterday, and by the time I made it home I was too beat to drive down to the Tacoma to video the protest.
Not that my presence was missed. Here is the news report.
Those who would harrass and abuse the recruiters were only able to find three dozen people to show up at their “Anniversary Party”. And it didn’t even start until the afternoon!
After the leaking of an unclassified warning to military personnel to stay away from Tacoma Mall so as to not antagonize the protesters by at least one of the local talk stations, at least twice as many pro-America folks showed up to swap verbiage with those who would harass and abuse America’s fighting men and women.
Ooh-RA! and mega-Hoowa to all those who were able to make it.
Today is “parts pulling day” and there’ll probably be pictures later.
Either way, because of the lack of visitation to snooze-ville, as well as the stupid weather forecast for during “parts pulling time”, this iz mah happi face.

Interesting note that the cops in riot gear in both pics seem to be all (except one) facing the peaceniks, while the bike cops watch the pro-troops folks.
Guess they know whom to expect more bad behavior from.
