I know a few people who feel this exact same way since the decision in California came down.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned it here on GunPundit, but Murdoc and his wife homeschool their two kids. It’s not right for everyone, but it’s right for our family.
Here’s a free bit of advice: Don’t be the person who shows up to tell Murdoc he can’t homeschool his kids.
Let me know if that advice sounds slightly threatening. I’ll reword it so that it’s very threatening.
We live in Michigan, thankfully, and not California. Despite all of Michigan’s troubles (and it has many) homeschooling here is pretty unencumbered by government interference.
I really feel for folks in other states (and other countries, for that matter) who don’t have the choices we do. I don’t know what I’d do if things suddenly changed.
I pray that we never find out.
