Ink

It is contagious.

Although, I seem to be immune to it. No new for over three years. The wife is starting to drop hints about it.

I spent 20 years in the Sea Service of this Nation and I don’t have any tattoos. Getting poked thousands of times on a voluntary basis? Those little things hurt. They have VERY SHARP ends. It was one thing to get your shot record updated prior to deployment. An individual can condition himself to handle it. I prefered the air gun, you know, blink and it’s done.
We had a blood draw back in ’86 when I was in the Argonauts of Attack Squadron One Four Seven. This was at the beginning of the HIV testing. One of AZ’s actually melted into the deck when Doc pulled the cover off of the needle.
    I guess it’s just perspective.

The soundbox may soon say, “Yeah he’s getting a tattoo, yeah he’s getting ink done, he wanted a 13 but they drew a 31!”

I’ve been contemplating some new ink myself, it’s about time to stop contemplating and start doing 😛
