Yawn (kind of)

News has come down the pike that General Motors has teamed up with Coskata to make the E85 ethanol/gas blend using microorganisms and trash.

Yawn. Ethanol is already dead, they just don’t know it yet. At least it doesn’t involve a government program and raising the price of food.

Hell, a separate division of my employer has been using their 21 electricity generation plants across the country to turn 140 million tons of trash into 297 megawatts. While putting nearly zero particulate pollution (the real greenhouse gas) into the atmosphere.

Remember, you should be getting paid to throw crap away so that your neighbor can turn his lights on.

But the eco-socialists would rather socially engineer the behavior of Americans to “recycle” and “reduce”.

They did, however, ask that the govt foot the bill to install the distribution system, pumps, tanks, tankers, whatever.
