Yes, I’m talking about prostitutes; Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are prostitutes and they are begging Bush to please let them get their hands on his new economic stimulus package (which sounds a bit disgusting, if I do say so myself).
Sadly for them, this puts Bush on the high ground, and I have a few ideas of just how high they should have to climb to be able to join him at the table when he signs the bill:
First, I’d start with some judicial confirmations. As of yesterday.
Next, since the Federal Elections Commission is now only an “Advisory Board”, also because the lack of confirmations, they need to confirm at least three more persons for that. It is an election year and the Clinton Team is running for a rather high office, so we know the monetary shenanigans will be high.
Thirdly, S. 1959 needs to be bottled up and killed. Also as of yesterday.
I think that that is a good start. Anyone got anything else to add to the list?
PS: I’d also add that they have to stop calling the Repubs “obstructionists” for the rest of the year, but I think it is a bit much to ask Reid and Pelosi to try and pull off.
