The Soundboard: From the Garage

Got an EP CD in the mail a few weeks back from someone you know.

I gave it a spin. In the Jeep. In the truck. On the computer. In the home theater.

It rocks. Thought you might like to hear it.

The band’s name is TruckeR and they’re out of Boston.

I’ll supply you with the opening track of their EP and you can click the above link to download the rest.

The Last Word – TruckeR

Don’t miss this.

Oh, and five million-billion “Stimulus Ribbate” points goes to the person who can guess which blogger/RNS reader sent the EP to me. The points are worth anything, but neither is the “Ribbate”.

Check back tomorrow for the uppy-datey, if no one gets it.

UPDATE: I have been informed that the tunage may be mixed a bit heavy on the bottom end. I pretty much only listen to tunage that is mixed heavy on the bottom end, so I didn’t notice other than I liked the rhythm section. Fair Warning.

OK hoser, you owe me for new speakers. I think I just blew up my Gateway 2000 set. The base in there wouldn’t be a little heavy, would it?

Love the melody axe in the middle of the song….
