You’ve been warned

I’ve been posting quotes from the moral midgets in the “Animal Rights” community for months now. I took a couple weeks off from them to post a bit about how the recycling racket works and these quacks go off.

The home of Dr. Arthur Rosenbaum isn’t hard to find. He lives a few blocks south of Sunset Boulevard, near the UCLA campus, in a white two-story house with a front yard jammed with aspen trees. There is a short driveway on the side of the home, and during the evening, a bright, white light illuminates the carport. If someone wants to sabotage the doctor’s car under the cover of night, a flashlight isn’t needed.

On Sunday, June 24, just that kind of person struck. Rosenbaum, a highly regarded pediatric ophthalmologist who had been regularly harassed by animal-rights activists for his research work with cats and rhesus monkeys at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, noticed a device underneath his luxury sedan. The bomb squad was dispatched to the scene and hauled away a makeshift — but deadly — explosive. A faulty fuse was the only reason it didn’t go off.

Three days later, the so-called Animal Liberation Brigade sent a typo-riddled “communiqué” to the North American Animal Liberation Press Office in Los Angeles. It was posted on the NAALPO Web site:

“130am on the twenty forth of june: 1 gallon of fuel was placed and set a light under the right front corner of Arthur Rosenbaums large white shiney BMW.“He and his wife …, living at … in la, are the target of rebellion for the vile and evil things he does to primates at UCLA. We have seen by our own eyes the torture on fully concious primates in his lab. We have heard their whimpers and screeches of pain. Seeing this drove one of us to rush out and vomit. We have seen hell and its in Rosenbaums lab.

“Rosenbaum, you need to watch your back because next time you are in the operating room or walking to your office you just might be facing injections into your eyes like the primates, you sick twisted fuck.

“Demonstrators need to realize that just demonstrating won’t stop this kind of evil. Look up Arthur Rosenbaum to find out about his experiment from two thousand four threw two thousand seven. ‘animal liberation brigade’”

Rosenbaum wouldn’t comment. In an e-mail, he wrote, “I have been asked by law enforcement to not discuss any events surrounding the incident at this time. I look forward to doing so in the future.” According to a Bel-Air Patrol guard, though, the doctor’s neighbors are “jumpy.”

Rosenbaum got very lucky that none of the animal rights dweebies is competent in making things go boom. Once you get a threat, such as the ones he has received in the past, you gate up or you get out (of that line of work). Thankfully, Rosembaum is not a coward and has kept on with his life-changing research. He is, however, not as smart as the letters after his name imply.

He didn’t change his routine, he didn’t change his lifestyle and he didn’t improve his security.

This is a “check” from the animal rights assholes to every other medical professional who has been threatened in the past: You need to provide for yourselves here. There aren’t enough police to cover your ass 24/7 and you need to put those minds to work on the side-project of your family’s security.

This is going to get worse before it gets better.

The “Taking Action For Animals” conference, kicking off tonight at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center, will feature at least one organization with direct ties to organized terrorism, the nonprofit Center for Consumer Freedom warned today. The event is sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and other prominent animal rights groups.

An organization called “Hugs for Puppies” is among the event’s approved exhibitors. Hugs for Puppies is the Philadelphia chapter of Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC), an organization convicted last year in federal court-along with six of its leaders-on domestic terrorism charges related to a violent campaign against medical researchers.

In a November 2002 announcement, the group declared that “SHAC Philly will now be referred to as Hugs For Puppies.” Hugs for Puppies is currently the subject of four different restraining orders intended to protect the public from the group’s constant harassment and threats.

In November 2006, Hugs for Puppies director Nicholas Cooney was convicted of making “terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another” in a Pennsylvania case related to SHAC’s violent activism. Cooney is expected to represent his organization at this weekend’s conference.

Center for Consumer Freedom Director of Research David Martosko said: “There’s no excuse for consorting with terrorists. The Humane Society of the United States and PETA should be distancing themselves from violence. But by welcoming their movement’s most vicious activists with open arms, they’re defending the indefensible.”

The Taking Action for Animals conference will also include a speech by PETA vice president Bruce Friedrich, who famously advocated “blowing stuff up and smashing windows” during a 2001 animal rights convention in Virginia.

What Mr. Martosko doesn’t realize is that the above mentione dgroups give money to and actively support the actions quoted above, just not in public.

While I don’t have the exact quote from Friedrich, this one should suffice to let you in on his mindset:

It would be really great if all these fast-food outlets, slaughter houses, these laboratories and the banks who fund them exploded tomorrow.

Bruce Friedrich

It is their religion. This is their righteous anger manifesting in punishing those whom their religion deems unholy.
