The Washington State Supreme Court has agreed to hear the pro-tax argument against the anti-tax initiative I-960. I’ve written about it here and here and here.
This could be very bad, with the court setting a precident on which Initiatives are against the “public interest” before the citizens even get a chance to vote on them.

Stephan Sharkansky informs us that his pro-citizen I-25, as well as I-24, are still being held hostage by the King County Elections Office. Today will mark the 35th day that the office has taken to verify signatures, a process that usually takes a seven to ten days.
