And now onto what I had planned on posting before the death of Elvis Aaron Presley moseyed its way onto my Thursday postings.
I posted some vids I found last weekend because I still, at that time, could not find my Reverend Horton Heat discs. I thought I had put them into one of the boxes containing the CDs I wasn’t currently keeping on the wall in the RNS Tacoma HQ, but apparently not. I will be breaking those little legs they’ve grown in multiple places when I do find them.
In the meantime, I repurchased my two favorite albums for your enjoyment today.
For those that don’t already know about The Rev, he sings about three things: Women, Cars and Booze. Usually all at the same time.
My favorite albums of his are two of his earliest: The Full Custom Gospel and as I mentioned over the weekend Liquor in the Front.
Since the vids came from 1994’s Liquor, these tracks will be from 1993’s Full Custom
Gretsch antics and not so subtle innuendo
And he wouldn’t be much of a Reverend if he didn’t try and warn you about the evils of Satan, now would he?
Enjoy.
Btw, I did find a very special treat for y’all next week in the box I thought the Rev discs were in, so join me, won’t you?
Wiggle Stick was also on the CD for the computer game Redneck Rampage…
It was one of the tracks played if you started up the “8 Track”.
The Beat Farmers had two tracks, and Mojo Nixon had one, as well…
Yar!
