OK, after trying to load this up at my GoogleVid account, only to find repeated “server error” message, then trying to do the same at YouTube, with the same crappy result, I have successfully loaded some of the video of the lunar eclipse from Tuesday morning onto my new account at Live Leak.
It is still going in and out of focus, but I edited a nice sized chuck of decent footage out of the pile.
And to keep it from sucking too badly, I have added some audio you’ll enjoy.
Or find creepy.
And the first person who can name where the audio was pulled from wins 1.7 Billion kickass points (from which the Democrats will take 255,000,000 in taxes).
That would be Enigma — Their 1990 release I believe. The song is called “The Voice & The Snake”. Good choice and nice vid!
Correctomundo, Chris.
And for everyone’s info, The Wife saw it and declared it creepy.
Kewl!
This was the first lunar eclipse I’d seen with my own eyes. I stayed up long enough to see the first arc of earthshadow, and then woke up about 3 or 3:30 to groggily peer out at the mostly-red blob. Was it worth getting up to grab the binoculars? “No,” I told my sleepy self, “Phil’s got it handled.” So thanks very much for a great vid.
Sure wish we had one of these on Halloween once in a while.
