Market Theory 101

If no one wants what you’re selling, you won’t be in busness long.

Liberal/Progressive talk radio station, Air America, found this out in rather short order.

Now leftist screecher-creature, Stephanie Miller, who very recently was telling anyone who would listen that her ratings were only going up-up-up is currently losing big time in the uber-socialist market of Seattle.

Here are the latest Arbitron ratings for the leftist, formerly Air America affiliate 1090 KPTK, via the pro-left-wing talk radio afficianados at blatherWatch.

Stephanie Miller (6-9a) lost 40%; Thom Hartmann (9a-12p) plunged 63%; Ed Shultz is in the bucket 68%; our Rachel Maddow is down 50%, and Randy Rhodes lost 33% of her audience. The only host who got over 1% of the audience was Mike Malloy- and even he dove 64%.

Ooooh, that’s gotta hurt.

Oddly enough, middle of the road talkers and right-wing talkers lost very little or gained shares.

Must be a conspiracy. I’m sure Ms. Miller will have something rather pithy to say about it in the very near future.

One Response to Market Theory 101

I thought that was the goal of talk radio hosts — to claim their ratings were going up no matter what. I remember Tom Leykis claiming his numbers were going up in the Seattle area a few ago when they weren’t. And where is he now?
