So now, I’m sure

That the American Eco-Socialist Left will be heading over to China to tell them they need to pollute less, right?

China overtakes US as world’s biggest CO2 emitter

China has overtaken the United States as the world’s biggest producer of carbon dioxide, the chief greenhouse gas, figures released today show.

The surprising announcement will increase anxiety about China’s growing role in driving man-made global warming and will pile pressure onto world politicians to agree a new global agreement on climate change that includes the booming Chinese economy. China’s emissions had not been expected to overtake those from the US, formerly the world’s biggest polluter, for several years, although some reports predicted it could happen as early as next year.

China has been #1 in atmospheric particulate emmissions, which are more harmful to the environment than CO2, for over a decade. This common knowledge is one of the main reasons why the US Congress refused to pass the Kyoto Accord upwards to Clinton.

It is also the reason that CO2 became the new boogeyman of the eco-socialist left.

Now that China has taken the #1 spot in both categories, those who say they care about the environment above all else need to either meander over to China and start demanding they do what they have been demanding of the US or find a new boogeyman they can scare children and adults with the personalities of children with.

The only other option is for them to shut up, and we know they won’t be doing that.

I suspected all along that China was the major polluter. Now we’ll probably find that India has outstripped the USA in that category as well. If you’ve ever seen satellite photos of the “asian brown cloud”, you’d know that.

Be interesting to see how the Goracle spins this news…

I hope the libtards go over there and piss off the wrong warlord. Hopefully, they’ll get a taste of Chinese prison.
