I’m not driving fast

I’m just flying low.

I think that Robert Kubica needs to learn to fly just a little bit lower.

Watch this clip from last weekend’s F1 Grand Prix of Montreal where Polish BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica takes a flying leap at a wall at 160mph.

This weekend they’re at Indy and Kubica is just waiting on the OK from the docs before he can drive.

In that crash he suffered only a concussion and a sprained ankle.

You said “whoa!”, didn’t you?

Good Lord! I think that is safely out of the “Woah” category and rapidly diving into the “Holy shit!” realm… I wonder what happened that caused him to completely miss that turn…

It looked to me that he tried to come through on the inside and got stuffed into the risers. His only other recourse would have been to brake hard and try to get in behind the guy he was trying to pass.

But at 160mph, that would have almost as dangerous with traffic coming up behind him.
