Umm, Excuse me….

But when did we become the Nation of Japan?

i know there was some hype in the 80’s about “the Japanese owning America” and so on and so forth, but when did it become official? Was it in the early 90’s, because there are a few weeks here and there that I just simply do not remember?

Dems Offer Reparations to Guam For Japanese War Crimes

That’s correct… Democrats are bringing legislation to the floor this week to pay Guam citizens for the crimes committed against them by members of the Imperial Japanese military forces during World War II!

Head on over to the gateway Pundit for the rest.

I really thought my head was going to explode reading that.

No offense to those Guamanians who actually served our nation, but back in the late Sixties or early Seventies, most of them who had lived trough Japanese occupation were summarily declared to be combat veterans of US forces, with all the perks which followed from that. That put them a step ahead of their Philipino cousins, who actually had to serve to gain those perks.

I’ll bet that those WW2 perks are running out with the sons and daughters of the original designees, so now the (d)onks are going to continue the islanders’ welfare system for yet more generations.

Ask any GI who ever served on Guam, and they’ll tell you plenty of stories about this welfare system on that island…
