RNS Quote of the Day: 04/23/07

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.

Sorry for the radio silence here at RNS over the weekend. I’ve been getting ready for Boomershoot; buying up last minute items (including, apparently, the last box of CCI Stingers in the county) and getting by workplace ready for my departure (which means long hours writing down as many proceedures as I can remember).

David and I will be leaving for Boomershoot on Thursday, and actually he’ll be hitting the road Tuesday for some serious RoadDog hours driving up here from the Bay Area. Joe says he had wireless internet on site at Boomershoot, but I don’t have a wireless card for my laptop. I also do not know what Trib’s has for internet these days, but last time it was 32K dial-up. Basically, I don’t know what we’ll be able to post between Thursday and Monday, so I’ll be tossign a few things like QotD into the “Dealyed Posting” file and hoping for the best.

More on this tomorrow.
