The Rant

This piece from a currently serving member of the United States Armed Services was forwarded to me by a trusted source known to him. I’d give his/her name, but my source says that that may be a bad idea. The writer is part “The Surge” soon to be deploying to Iraq.

It is a week old, but I think it still holds its value well. The writers words will be in italics to diferentiate them.

So here we go:

I was watching FOX News the other morning and there was a debate going on between Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes. Seriously, I have no idea how Sean can sit next to that Beevis (or is it Butthead) looking idiot. I mean Colmes is the biggest idiot I have seen since the last time they had the Mayor of New Orleans on TV. But I digress.

It seems the DNC recently opened their winter conference and can you guess who gave the invocation? Give up? It was a Sunni Imam who supports Hezbollah. Yep, this idiot lives in America, and from that statement we can ASSUME he even uses toilet paper as opposed to wiping his ass with his bare left hand. This guy HATES America. In his opening “prayer” he called the United States an, “aggressor nation”. Was there outrage from the Democrats? No. They APPLAUDED him. These are the people who are running both houses of Congress and are trying to take the White House in 2008. God help us if these surrender monkeys win.

Pelosi was on The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer last night, and Jim Lehrer said, “Ms. Pelosi, what would your position be if in fact the Petraeus plan worked?” What if it actually worked, the Baghdad security plan? (THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO DEPLOYING 21,500 MORE U.S. TROOPS TO BAGHDAD)

PELOSI: I pray that it does. (Liar. Failure gives you political clout with all of the loonies on the left who WANT us to lose) But the fact is we know that it would increase the odds of it working if there were some sincere efforts to engage the other countries in the region in the diplomatic solutions (We tried diplomacy for 12 years….Muslims understand POWER. Besides we don’t need the French) that are necessary to stabilize the region, and do the political work, do the political work. That is to say, amend the constitution, include the Sunnis and others into the civic life of Iraq. That’s where you go. You don’t go into ethnic cleansing of neighborhoods and say, “Now we’re going to referee.”

Can you believe that? Ethnic Cleansing? This woman has had one too many BOTOX injections. I think they missed her face and caught her in the brain. First we had John Kerry saying we were going into houses in the middle of the night and “terrorizing” innocent Iraqi’s. Then, John Kerry called those of us in the Military uneducated and stupid. Now we have the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, the third person in line for the Presidency accusing us of ethnic cleansing.

Where do these people get this stuff? The unfortunate thing is people actually believe this shit. Enough believed it that we lost control of the House and Senate. Hopefully voters will remember when the 2008 elections come around.

Why are these people angry all the time? I am tired of hearing about how Murtha was a Marine. I thank him for his service to our great nation but would respectfully ask him to sit down and shut the F**K up!!!

WASHINGTON —  A powerful Democrat and Iraq war foe said he intends to introduce legislation in the coming weeks that would effectively end President Bush’s plans to send 21,500 more troops into Iraq by setting limits on which troops can be sent. (Murtha wants us to lose….plain and simple)

Using an unusual medium – a recorded interview posted on the Internet – Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., said his bill would prevent troops from being sent back to Iraq too soon or too poorly equipped. Troops being sent back to Iraq for another tour would have to stay in the United States at least one year before being redeployed. The bill would also end “stop-loss” policies by preventing the president from retaining troops in Iraq after their enlistments expire.

Murtha, who is chairman of the defense subcommittee to the House Appropriations Committee, said he is formulating legislation with teeth because he doesn’t think Bush’s plan to send more troops to Baghdad and al Anbar province would accomplish the goals of bringing peace to the country or returning troops home sooner.

The Bush administration “won’t be able to continue. They won’t be able to do the deployment. They won’t have the equipment. They don’t have the training and they won’t be able to do the work,” Murtha said in the post on the Democrat-friendly Web site MoveCongress.org. “This vote will limit the options of the president and should stop this surge.”

So in a nut-shell this idiot wants to keep us from winning. If we have idiots like this running the show much longer, Canada could invade us…and win. Never mind that we are faced with a tough, determined enemy who would love to destroy or country. The goal of these terrorists is to live in a Muslim theocracy. There is no negotiation with these animals. They understand power and must be overjoyed seeing our President belittled and mocked in the press. They used to call what is going on in our Congress, “Giving aid and comfort to the enemy”. Now it’s just another way to B.S. the American people and get votes.
