The Funnist Post Speech Leftie Spiel

And the Winner IS!

Joe from AmericaBlog

The morning after the big speech. Just watched Condi on the Today Show. She’s as clueless as her boss. Seriously, not a lot of brain power between them.

Let us run down the acheivements of Bush and Rice

George W. Bush: Bush attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and, following in his father’s footsteps, was accepted into Yale University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1968. After obtaining an MBA from Harvard University (Bush is the only US President to serve holding a Master of Business Administration degree).

Next up,

Condoleeza Rice: Rice was hired for her first academic position by Stanford University as an Assistant Professor in Political Science (1981–1987). She was granted tenure and promoted, first to Associate Professor (1987–1993), and then (she was off-campus from 1989–1991) to Provost, the chief budget and academic officer of the university (1993–>2000), and full Professor (1993–present). In addition to being the first female and first minority to hold the position of Provost at Stanford, Rice was the youngest Provost in Stanford’s history. She was also named a Senior Fellow of the Institute for International Studies, and a Senior Fellow (by courtesy) of the Hoover Institution. She was a specialist on the former Soviet Union and gave lectures on the subject for the Berkeley-Stanford joint program led by UC Berkeley Professor George Breslauer in the mid-1980s.

As Stanford’s Provost, Dr. Rice was responsible for managing the university’s multi-billion dollar budget. The school at that time was running a deficit of $20 million. When Rice took office, she promised that the budget deficit would be balanced within “two years”. Says Coit Blacker, Stanford’s deputy director of the Institute for International Studies, “There was a sort of conventional wisdom that said it couldn’t be done … that [the deficit] was structural, that we just had to live with it.” Two years later, Rice convened a meeting to announce that not only had the deficit been balanced, but the university was holding a record surplus of over $14.5 million.

Dr. Rice is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has been awarded honorary doctorates from Morehouse College in 1991, the University of Alabama in 1994, the University of Notre Dame in 1995, the Mississippi College School of Law in 2003, the University of Louisville, Michigan State University in 2004, and Boston College Law School in 2006.

And that is just her academic career. Follow the link to see her private industry career and her life in the political world.

As for Joe from AmericaBlog: Joe Sudbay – Blogger and DC-based political consultant with over twenty years of experience at both the state and federal level. Joe has managed political operations and legislative efforts for both candidates and issues-based organizations. For seven years, he was the Director of State Legislation at Handgun Control, Inc. He served as that organization’s first Political Director during the 2000 cycle where he designed the television ad featuring the NRA’s Vice President claiming the group would work out of the Oval Office.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. In addition, he has a Masters in Public Administration from Lehigh University and received his B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.

Hmmm, I think it is an easy guess as to whom has the least amount of achievement and brain power (psst, Joe Sudbay, its you. Your high-water mark in life proved that you cannot even understand the Second Amendment).

Your recap of the work of Joe Sudbay seems to be missing which states he had been admitted to the bar in. Unless you left that out, and he HAS been admitted to the bar in a state, that makes him just short of worthless IMHO.

If a person goes all the way through law school, and fails to stand for/pass the bar exam, what has that person done?

The answer is: wasted all the time and energy required to attend law school in the first place.

It would seem that Mr. Sudbay is nothing more than a simple soldier in the leftist mob. He does other’s bidding, and is depended on for organizational details of low to middle echelon management of the advancement/defeat of political issues.

He is a tool, nothing more. There are a million like him in the political industry. Generally this class lives for the day when they get invited to a political soiree and get to rub elbows with REAL politicians, as well as graze on good food and guzzle good booze at someone else’s expense.

  2. JP says:

Hey now, be nice to Joe. He was Director of State Legislation at Handgun Control, Inc. for seven years.

And we know how well that worked. Heh.

    Perhaps he’s a mole?

  3. Phil says:

If you click the link to AmericaBlog, you’ll see Sudbay’s write-up on the lower half of the right hand margin. I only cut and pasted the achievement portions of said write-up.

Apparently, he/Avarosis doesn’t think your req’d info is important.

  4. David says:

Wow. I didn’t know Condi had been involved in George Breslauer’s lecture series. Breslauer was one of my favorite professors at UC Berkeley. Guess I missed Ms. Rice as I was there from 1987 – 1991. Breslauer is not a conservative by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely one of the more even-handed professors there. And a really nice guy to boot.
