Boys believed to be 7 and 10 years old rob woman at gunpoint
King County sheriff’s deputies are searching for two children who allegedly mugged a 56-year-old woman at gunpoint in the Skyway neighborhood last week.
The boys, estimated by the victim to be around 7 and 10 years old, walked up to the woman on a sidewalk near 74th Avenue South and South 116th Place at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday and the younger boy pulled out a gun and demanded her purse, said sheriff’s Sgt. John Urquhart. The pair took the purse, which contained credit cards and about $130 in cash, Urquhart said.
The woman, who hasn’t been identified, wasn’t hurt.
It probably won’t be long before these two little turd-burglars try this again and get caught.
Currently, no one knows if it even a real gun, but if it is, we can expect the gun-bigots to start blaming the inanimate object in the crime and not the two little angels or the parenting skills of their legal guardians.
If it is not real, I’m sure we’ll hear cries like this one out of Oregon
Beaverton police want partial ban on fake firearms
A public hearing tonight is being held by the Beaverton City Council on a proposed ban of replica guns in public places.
Beaverton Police requested the ordinance after a series of incidents in which officers drew their guns on teenagers holding what looked like real firearms.
The ban is focused on Airsoft guns, which shoot plastic pellets.
Because criminals will follow this law, even while they simultaneously break numerous other ones.
