Well the Gators would whip BSU. Boise barely beat the Big 12 champs in a year where the other top Big 12 teams struggled in bowl games. Nebraska lost to Auburn and Texas barely beat a Big Ten also ran, but that really isn’t the point.

My take on it is where is the thanks from Florida to the Oregon State Beavers? If not for the Beavers, Florida would not have played for the Championship at all, because that game would have been Ohio State vs. USC
